GREENSBORO, N.C. --- North Carolina junior forward Jessica Breland was named to the 2009 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Tournament first team, the league office announced following the completion of the event Sunday. Senior Rashanda McCants and sophomore Italee Lucas were named to the second team. Maryland's Marissa Coleman was named tournament MVP.

Breland had 22 points and 11 rebounds in UNC's quarterfinal win over Clemson. The Kelford, N.C., native added 23 points and seven boards in the semifinal loss to Maryland. McCants averaged 18.5 points in the two games, while Lucas had a team-high 26 points and five three-pointers against Maryland.

The No. 11 Tar Heels return home March 15 for a final non-conference game against South Dakota. Tip for that game is set for 5 p.m. at the Smith Center.
