CHAPEL HILL - Tar Heel basketball fans should check out Chancellor Holden Thorp's latest blog entry, entitled "Raised on on Carolina Basketball."

In it, Thorp comments on transforming himself from being simply a fan of the Carolina basketball program to being part of the program as the chancellor. See below:

"It's a tricky transition to go from being a ridiculous, rabid Carolina basketball fan to being the chancellor, where you have to act like it makes sense that you're part of the whole thing -- and where it could get kind of conspicuous to act out a lot of superstitions. People would probably notice if I left the Smith Center and went outside to listen on the radio."
