Hansbrough Day Today In Poplar Bluff

Roy Williams, Tyler Hansbrough and a handful of other Tar Heels will be in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, today for Tyler Hansbrough Day. It's a fitting honor for a player who was so frequently identified with his unique hometown.
The hometown itself seems to be fired up about the event, as the 3,000-ticket banquet has already sold out. Adam Lucas made a one-day visit to Poplar Bluff two years ago, when it became clear that the town has a big-time love affair with its most famous son.
