Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks of the New York Giants caught eight passes and went over 100 yards for the third time in his career. Chicago's Julius Peppers also had a big game, recording a sack and a forced fumble. Meanwhile, Sam Aiken made his first catch as a Brown and long snapper Ethan Albright made his debut with San Diego.
Sam Aiken, Cleveland - Wide receiver caught his first pass as a Brown for seven yards and made a special teams tackle as Cleveland earned their first victory in a 23-20 win over Cincinnati.
Ethan Albright, San Diego - Long snapper, now in his sixteenth season, made his debut as a Charger and snapped for two successful field goals and five extra points in San Diego's 41-10 rout of Arizona.
Kentwan Balmer, Seattle - Third-year defensive tackle made one tackle in the Seahawks' 20-3 loss at St. Louis.
Connor Barth, Tampa Bay - Kicker and the Buccaneers were idle and will travel to Cincinnati next week.
Jason Brown, St. Louis - Former All-ACC center anchored an offense that accumulated 349 yards in a convincing 20-3 victory over Seattle.
Alge Crumpler, New England - Veteran tight end and the Patriots will take on the Dolphins in a key AFC East division contest Monday night.
Brooks Foster, Miami - Wide receiver is listed on the Dolphins' practice squad.
Madison Hedgecock, N.Y. Giants - Fullback helped lead the way for part of the Giants' 189 rushing yards before leaving with an injury in New York's Sunday night win.
Jordan Hemby, Indianapolis - Cornerback is on injured reserved for the season with a torn ACL.
Jesse Holley, Dallas - Wide receiver is listed on the Cowboys' practice squad for the second consecutive year.
Vonnie Holliday, Washington - Thirteenth-year defensive end was inactive in the Redskins' upset win at Philadelphia.
Kyle Jolly, Pittsburgh - Rookie offensive tackle is listed on the Steelers' practice squad.
Hakeem Nicks, N.Y. Giants - Carolina's all-time leading receiver set a career high for the second consecutive week with eight catches for 110 of the Giants' 195 passing yards in their victory over Chicago.
Julius Peppers, Chicago - Former All-America defensive end registered four sacks, including a sack, while also forcing a fumble and deflecting a pass in the Bears' 17-3 Sunday night loss to the Giants.
Richard Quinn, Denver - Second-year tight end was inactive in the Broncos' win at Tennessee.
Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh - Veteran kicker converted two extra points but was unsuccessful on two field goal tries in the Steelers' 17-14 loss to Baltimore.
Garrett Reynolds, Atlanta - Second-year offensive tackle was inactive in the Falcons' win over San Francisco.
Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis - Four-time Pro Bowl center blocked for a Colts offense that threw for 348 yards but the defending AFC champions dropped a 31-28 decision to Jacksonville on a last-second field goal.
Gerald Sensabaugh, Dallas - Strong safety and the Cowboys had a bye week and will travel to Tennessee next weekend.
Ryan Sims, Tampa Bay - Veteran defensive tackle and the Buccaneers had an open date.
Brandon Tate, New England - Second-year wide receiver returned his second kickoff of the season 103 yards to assist the Patriots to a 41-14 rout of the Dolphins on Monday night football.
Hilee Taylor, Carolina - Defensive end is listed on injured reserve and out for the year with a right knee injury.
Cam Thomas, San Diego - Rookie defensive tackle was inactive in San Diego's blowout win over Arizona.
David Thornton, Tennessee - Ninth-year linebacker begins the season on the Titans' physically unable to perform list due to offseason hip and shoulder surgeries.
Greg Warren, Pittsburgh - Sixth-year long snapper helped Pittsburgh net 45.6 yards on five punts and made a special teams tackle in the loss.
E.J. Wilson, Seattle- Rookie defensive end was inactive in Seattle's road loss at St. Louis.
Wallace Wright, Carolina - Wide receiver and special teams ace has been placed on injured reserve by the Panthers for an injured shoulder.
