Julius Peppers of Chicago had three sacks as the Bears shut out the Dolphins Thursday night. Defensive linemen Vonnie Holliday and Kentwan Balmer also recorded a sack and four tackles, respectively. Jeff Saturday helped Indianapolis collect 467 yards but Brandon Tate, Alge Crumpler and the Patriots remained tied for the NFL's record by beating the Colts.
Kentwan Balmer, Seattle - 2008 first-round draft pick started at defensive end and made four tackles in the Seahawks' 34-19 loss to New Orleans.
Connor Barth, Tampa Bay - Third-year kicker converted three extra points but missed his only field goal attempt, a 41-yarder, as Tampa Bay convincingly beat San Francisco, 21-0.
Jason Brown, St. Louis - Sixth-year center helped the Rams rush for 71 yards but the Rams were defeated 34-17 by Atlanta.
Alge Crumpler, New England - Four-time Pro Bowler started at tight end and helped the Patriots rush for 168 yards as New England beat Indianapolis 31-28.
Brooks Foster, Miami - Wide receiver is listed on the Dolphins' practice squad.
Madison Hedgecock, N.Y. Giants - Fullback missed the Giants' loss at Philadelphia as he is still nursing an injured hamstring.
Jordan Hemby, Indianapolis - Cornerback is on injured reserved for the season with a torn ACL.
Jesse Holley, Dallas - Saw action in the Cowboys' win over Detroit.
Vonnie Holliday, Washington - Veteran defensive logged a sack and two quarterback hurries as the Redskins pulled out a 19-16 overtime win at Tennessee.
Kyle Jolly, Pittsburgh - Rookie offensive tackle is listed on the Steelers' practice squad.
Hakeem Nicks, N.Y. Giants - Second-year wide receiver caught six passes for 65 yards in New York's Sunday night loss at Philadelphia.

Gerald Sensabaugh, Dallas - Sixth-year strong safety registered three tackles and a pass defended as Dallas won their second consecutive game, beating Detroit 35-19.
Ryan Sims, Tampa Bay - Veteran defensive tackle was inactive in Sunday's win with an injured knee.
Brandon Tate, New England - 2009 third-round draft pick averaged 23 yards on kickoff returns as the Patriots moved to 8-2 with a win over Indianapolis.
Hilee Taylor, Carolina - Defensive end is listed on injured reserve and out for the year with a right knee injury.
Cam Thomas, San Diego - Rookie defensive tackle and the Chargers face Denver on Monday Night Football.
David Thornton, Tennessee - Ninth-year linebacker is on the Titans' physically unable to perform list due to offseason hip and shoulder surgeries.
Greg Warren, Pittsburgh - Long snapper helped the Steelers convert all five extra point attempts and net nearly 40 yards on seven punts in a dominating 35-3 win over Oakland.
E.J. Wilson, Seattle- Rookie fourth-round pick was inactive in Seattle's loss.
