Tar Heel Express, Parking Locations For Celebration Of A Century

CHAPEL HILL - The Tar Heel Express, Chapel Hill Transit's shuttle bus service, will be in operation at select locations for Friday night's Celebration of a Century event, which begins at 8 p.m. in the Smith Center.
Tar Heel Express buses will run from the Friday Center, Southern Village, Jones Ferry Road and the Carolina Coffee Shop beginning at 6:30 p.m. Parking for the Carolina Coffee Shop shuttles will be available in the Town of Chapel Hill Municipal Lots downtown.
The Tar Heel Express will not run from University Mall on Friday night.
One-way fare for Tar Heel Express service is $3; round-trip is $5. The fare from Carolina Coffee Shop to the Smith Center is $2 one-way & $4 round-trip. Carolina Coffee Shop is only a stop on the Tar Heel Express, no parking provided.

General public parking on campus will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Cardinal Deck, Jackson Deck, Craige Deck, Bowles Lot, Rams Head Deck and Manning Lot. The cost for parking will be $10 for regular-sized vehicles and $40 for buses.
Disability parking will be available in the Bowles Lot, where golf carts will be available to provide rides to and from the Bowles Lot to and from the Smith Center's "A Entrance" for those that require special assistance.
