Until last week, Carolina had never won two straight ACC games with scores in the 60's in the Roy Williams era. The last time it happened overall for the Tar Heels was Feb. 20 and 23 of 1999, with wins over Virginia and Wake Forest.

With an 8-6 record against the Tar Heels, Georgia Tech is the only ACC team with a winning record against Carolina in the Williams era.

The Carolina-Clemson game in Chapel Hill has been decided by single digits just twice in the past 28 years.

Kendall Marshall's 11.4 assists per 40 minutes is the best figure in the country.

John Henson ranks in the top 10 players in the country in both blocks per 40 minutes and rebounds per 40 minutes.
