Raymond Felton, Denver Nuggets- The starting point guard averaged 8.5 points, six assists, and four rebounds in the Nuggets' two games this past week. The Nuggets have won five out of their last six games.
Marvin Williams, Atlanta Hawks- In three games this past week, the starting small forward averaged 3.3 points and 4.7 rebounds.
Vince Carter, Phoenix Suns- Before going just 2-for-11 from the field against Denver on Thursday, the starting shooting guard had 32 and 29 point outings against Houston and Oklahoma City.
Tyler Hansbrough, Indiana Pacers- The power forward was re-inserted into the starting line-up last week. He had a game high and career-high 29 points on Sunday in a win against New York. In the previous three games, he averaged 22.3 points and 7.7 rebounds. New head coach Frank Vogel said of the power forward: ""He has a motor that is really unparalleled in this league. Nobody goes harder than that kid. Nobody plays harder than Tyler Hansbrough, and whatever his motivation is, I just think he goes hard."
Ty Lawson, Denver Nuggets- In both games this week, the back-up point guard posted a double-double. He had 20 points and 11 assists on Thursday at Phoenix, and 15 points and 11 assists on Saturday against Detroit.
Wayne Ellington, Minnesota Timberwolves- The backup shooting guard averaged 8.5 points per game in four games this past week.
Antawn Jamison, Cleveland Cavaliers- Jamison will be out five to seven weeks after having surgery on his fractured left little finger.
Brendan Haywood, Dallas Mavericks- The back-up center once again started in place of injured Tyson Chandler. In four games this week, Haywood averaged seven points and eight rebounds. Dallas will play in a nationally televised game on Wednesday at Golden State at 10:30 on ESPN.
Brandan Wright, New Jersey Nets- The power forward has seen playing time in just one game since being acquired by the New Jersey Nets. He had two points in six minutes on Wednesday against his former team Golden State.
Ed Davis, Toronto Raptors- The power forward started in place of Amir Johnson on Friday in a win against Indiana because of an ankle injury and put up 12 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in 34 minutes. He also started on Sunday against Charlotte in a loss and put up eight points, six rebounds, and three steals in 25 minutes.
