Fall World Series Rosters Announced

The North Carolina baseball team set the rosters for the 2012 Fall World Series on Wednesday as the three seniors on the squad picked their teams. Outfielder Chaz Frank and Chris Munnelly were paired up as the captains for the Blue Team, while Cody Stubbs served as the captain for the White Team.

The teams will play a pair of three-game series with an if necessary game on Tuesday, Oct. 16 if the teams split the series. All three games of each series will be played out even if one team wins the first two contests as an aggregate score will be used to determine the series winner.

First pitch of the 2012 Fall World Series will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8 at Boshamer Stadium.
