Tar Heels In The WNBA - Early Season Update

Five former North Carolina standouts currently occupy positions on rosters in the WNBA, including former world champion Camille Little. Little, who is in her fifth season with Seattle, is joined in the league by Ivory Latta (Tulsa), Erlana Larkins (Indiana), LaToya Pringle (Washington) and Chay Shegog (Connecticut).
In addition to the five active players, four more former Tar Heels spent time in WNBA preseason camps - La'Tangela Atkinson (Indiana), Jessica Breland (Connecticut, Washington), Laura Broomfield (New York) and Rashanda McCants (Washington).
Erlana Larkins (Indiana) - Larkins has appeared in all three games for the 3-0 Fever, averaging 1.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per outing in 10.3 minutes.
Ivory Latta (Tulsa) - Latta has appeared in all four games for the Shock, starting two. She is second on the team in both scoring (14.3 ppg) and assists (2.8 apg).
Camille Little (Seattle) - Little has started all three games for the Storm, averaging 8.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals in 32.3 minutes per contest.
LaToya Pringle (Washington) - Pringle has yet to appear in a game this season and was placed on the suspended list in mid-May in order to tend to a family matter.
Chay Shegog (Connecticut) - Shegog has appeared in one game for the Sun.
