Marcus Holman of the University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team has been named the Tar Heel Performer of the Week for April 30-May 6, 2012. Holman had 10 points in Carolina's 19-5 win over Michigan to end UNC's regular season.
Holman had a career high six goals against the Wolverines to go along with his career high 10 points. The 10 points were the most by a Tar Heel in a single game since Spencer Deering had 11 points against Delaware in 1997. Holman's 10 points were just one short of the school record.
Holman has 66 points this year, the fourth most in a season in UNC history. His 33 assists are also the fourth most in a season in Tar Heel lore.
