FROM COACH SAPP
"We are looking forward to getting back into competition this weekend, and it is nice to be able to play at the Rod Myers Invitational down the road. Our guys know the course well, and we have played a few times out there this fall already, so we should be well prepared for the golf course. One of the nice things about this event is that Duke is allowing us to play 8 players, so we will have five starters and three individuals. Adding the individuals gives some of our younger guys an opportunity to gain some valuable tournament experience for the future as well as them trying to go out and win a college golf tournament. Our starters should fare well in the familiar surroundings since many of them have played in previous Rod Myers Invitationals and that should give them confidence against some great competition this week."
