Hayley Carter Wins at Duke Fab Four Invite

The Tar Heels had an entry into the finals of all three draws this morning, but Carter was the only one to come away victorious. She won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, over Florida's 16th-ranked Sofie Oyen.
34th-ranked Whitney Kay never dropped a set in making the finals of the blue draw, but came up short this morning, falling to Kelsey Laurente (Miami) 7-5, 6-4.
Freshman Jamie Loeb won all three of her matches in two sets to get to the white draw final, but also fell this morning to Breaunna Addison (Texas) by the score of 6-2, 6-3.
On Saturday, Loeb and Carter combined to win the doubles portion of the blue draw in their collegiate tennis debut.
Carolina will be back in action at the ITA/Riviera All-American Championships Sept. 28-Oct. 6 in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
