UNC WBB Trio Listed on Naismith Watch List

ATLANTA - The North Carolina women's basketball team led all Atlantic Coast Conference institutions with three student-athletes selected to the 2014-15 Naismith Trophy preseason watch list.
The ACC led all conferences with ten selections, headed by North Carolina's trio of junior Xylina McDaniel and sophomores Allisha Gray and Stephanie Mavunga.
Notre Dame followed with two, while Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Syracuse and Wake Forest each had one player listed.
Gray was also named to the Wade Watch List, and was included on the Wooden Award Preseason Top 30 list.
No. 6 North Carolina (8-0) hosts Appalachian State on Sunday at 2 p.m., in Carmichael Arena.
