Tar Heels In The NBA, Dec. 17
December 17, 2014 | Men's Basketball
Harrison Barnes
Harrison Barnes took an elbow from the Pelicans' Dante Cunningham but returned to action in Sunday night's game. Barnes is averaging 11.2 points on the season for the 21-2 Warriors, who have now won 16 games in a row and are five games ahead of the L.A. Clippers atop the Pacific Division.
James Michael McAdoo is putting in work with the NBDL's Santa Cruz Warriors. The former Tar Heel poured in 32 points, including going 18-20 from the free throw line, in a 103-84 win over Erie on Saturday. BlueManHoop's Ryan Hurlow broke down McAdoo's performance here.
John Henson
John Henson has missed nine games with a 'dancer's sprain' suffered before Thanksgiving. The Bucks are hopeful Henson can return during this week's road trip.
P.J. Hairston
P.J. Hairston missed two games after missing practice but returned to the Hornets lineup Saturday. The rookie had an off night shooting 0-5 from the field in 12 minutes of action.
