Gray Honored With ACC Must See Moment Of The Year
March 25, 2014 | Women's Basketball
Charlotte, N.C. - The ACC Digital Network (ACCDN) brought to you by Ruby Tuesday announced Tyler Ennis of Syracuse and Allisha Gray of North Carolina, as winners of the 2013-2014 Basketball Must See Moment of the Year fan vote.
Fans were impressed by Allisha Gray's nice spin move into the lane and finish with a layup.
"I was very surprised when I heard that my play was voted the Must See Moment of the Year," said Allisha Gray. "I just incorporated the spin move into my game this season so I haven't really practiced it all that much. I'm thankful at that moment I was able to do that move and make the basket. I'm grateful to all the fans that voted for me. It's a great accomplishment!"
Syracuse point guard Tyler Ennis hit the shot of the year, according to fans, when the freshman made the long three-pointer to beat Pitt at the buzzer back in February. (Link: http://youtu.be/PDg0KpiO-ms)
"It's a great honor to have that play selected by the fans, considering all the amazing plays that happened in the ACC," said Tyler Ennis.
Fans voted on 10 finalists in each of the Men's and Women's category for the ACCDN Must See Moment of the Year. Fans are invited to tweet @theACCDN #MustSeeACC with feedback and comments.
