• Carolina is now 15-4 overall, 5-1 in the ACC and 5-1 on the road. The Tar Heels are 3-0 in ACC road games.
• Roy Williams is now 61-32 (.656) on the road in ACC play in his 12 seasons, the second-best percentage in ACC history. Duke's Vic Bubas is the all-time leader at .667.
• Carolina shot a season-high 60.3 percent from the floor. Its previous high was 60.0 against East Carolina. UNC shot 53.1 percent from the floor in the first half and 69.2 in the second half. The second-half percentage was the highest by UNC in any UNC half this season and the second-highest in any half (behind only 71.9 percent in the second half vs. East Carolina).
• Theo Pinson left the game with a bruised left foot after playing six first-half minutes. He did not return to the game and will be evaluated tomorrow in Chapel Hill. Point guard Nate Britt suffered a lacerated lip late in the game.
• Brice Johnson (19 points) and Kennedy Meeks (16) combined for 35 points, their second-highest combined figure this season. They combined for 44 points in the second game of the year against Robert Morris. They shot a combined 16 for 22 from the floor against Wake.
• Freshman Justin Jackson scored 17 points on 6 of 8 shooting from the floor. It was his second consecutive game scoring a personal ACC high (he had 16 against Virginia Tech). The 33 points are the most Jackson has scored in any two consecutive games this season (previous was 31 vs. Robert Morris and Davison when he had 13 and 18, respectively).
• Marcus Paige had a game-high eight assists, giving him 19 in the last three games.
• The Tar Heels lead the series against Wake Forest, 157-66, including 13-10 at Joel Coliseum.
• Tonight's win was the 150th combined ACC regular season and tournament win, which moves him ahead of Bobby Cremins into fifth place in ACC history.
