UNC TRIO AMONG ACC SCORING LEADERS
North Carolina's three starting guards all rank among the top nine scorers in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Jamie Cherry and Destinee Walker are tied for sixth at 19.0 points per game, while Stephanie Watts is ninth at 17.0 ppg.
Walker's 32-point and Watt's 27-point performances against Florida A&M are the top two single scoring games thus far in the ACC this season.
STAT SHEET STUFFER
Jamie Cherry not only ranks sixth in the ACC in scoring at 19.0 ppg, but has also gone to the free throw line 19 times and made 18 of her attempts, both league highs among qualifying shooters.
Cherry ranks 5th in assists (5.3), 10th in 3FG's made (2.3) and 12th in FT percentage (94.7).
WALKER NETS 32 IN JUST THIRD CAREER GAME
Destinee Walker scored 32 points against Florida A&M in just her third collegiate game at North Carolina. That figure ties Tonya Sampson for the second most points scored in a game by a Tar Heel rookie.

WELL THEY ARE “FREE” THROWS
North Carolina leads the ACC by converting 83.6 percent of its free throws through the first weekend of the season. Destinee Walker is a perfect 16-for-16 from the line this season, while Jamie Cherry is 18-of-19 (94.7%).
JOHNSON GOES “BEAST MODE” ON THE BOARDS
Erika Johnson, a native of Seattle, Wash., has channeled her inner Marshawn Lynch thus far on the offensive glass, grabbing 3.7 offensive rebounds per game.
The only bench player receiving minutes for the Tar Heels, Johnson is 10th in the league with 7.3 rebounds per game.
SUMMERS SETTING CAREER HIGHS
After playing limited minutes in her first two years with Carolina, redshirt junior Hillary Summers has averaged 10.7 points and shooting 51.9 percent from the floor this season.
Summers also ranks sixth in the ACC with 2.0 blocks per game.
WATTS PLAYING STRONG OVERALL GAME
Freshman guard Stephanie Watts produced four quadruple-doubles in high school. Her overall game has translated to the collegiate game thus far, averaging 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, 2.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per game.
She put together a 27 point, 6 rebound, 5 assist, 3 steal and 3 block performance against Florida A&M.
