• Destinee Walker was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday after averaging 19.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals in leading Carolina to a 4-0 record last week.
• Walker's award is the 57th time a UNC player has earned Rookie of the Week honors, tops in the ACC.
• UNC has not trailed in any of the last four games, all Tar Heel victories.
• Carolina has seen at least one player score 20 or more points in all six games this season.
• Sylvia Hatchell is seven wins shy of 700 victories at North Carolina in 30 seasons in Chapel Hill.

UNC TRIO AMONG ACC'S LEADING SCORERS
North Carolina's three starting guards all rank among the top 25 scorers in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Destinee Walker is the top scoring freshman in the league, and 6th overall, at 17.0 points per game.
Jamie Cherry is 11th at 15.7 ppg, and Stephanie Watts is 25th at 12.5 per game.
WALKED SELECTED ACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Destinee Walker was named the ACC Rookie of the Week after leading her team to a 4-0 record last week. She averaged a team-leading 19.3 points per game.
She exploded for 32 points and 10 rebounds in a 94-58 win over Florida A&M. She not only recorded her first career double-double, but Walker's 32 points tied for the second most points ever scored in a single game by a UNC freshman.
Walker scored in double figures in all four games, including 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting in a 64-52 win over Iona on Saturday.
STAT SHEET STUFFER
Jamie Cherry not only ranks 11th in the ACC in scoring at 15.7 ppg, but has also gone to the free throw line 38 times and made 35 of her attempts, both league highs among qualifying shooters.
Cherry ranks 5th in FT percentage (92.1%), 7th in assists (4.0), 14th in 3FG% (40.9) and 15th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.6).
WALKER NETS 32 IN JUST THIRD CAREER GAME
Destinee Walker scored 32 points against Florida A&M in just her third collegiate game at North Carolina. That figure ties Tonya Sampson for the second most points scored in a game by a Tar Heel rookie.

WELL THEY ARE “FREE” THROWS
North Carolina is second in the ACC by converting 78.2 percent of its free throw. The Heels have gone to the line a league-leading 119 times and made 93 of those attempts, 23 more than second place Georgia Tech.
Destinee Walker is third in the league at 94.7 percent (18-for-19), while Jamie Cherry is fifth at 35-of-38 (92.1%).
SUMMERS SETTING CAREER HIGHS
After playing limited minutes in her first two years with Carolina, redshirt junior Hillary Summers has averaged 10.3 points by shooting 50.9 percent from the floor this season. Summers ranks 10th in the ACC in rebounding (7.7) and eighth in blocks (1.8) per game.
WATTS PLAYING STRONG OVERALL GAME
Freshman guard Stephanie Watts produced four quadruple-doubles in high school. Her overall game has translated to the collegiate game thus far, averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
Her best effort to date was a 27 point, 6 rebound, 5 assist, 3 steal and 3 block performance against Florida A&M on Nov. 17.
