Opening Statement
“It's fun to get going again. You think, well we only won by 11, but I saw some good things. We were 1-22 from the 3, make 5 more of those that's 15 points add that to the other points and we end up winning by 25 or 30. But, we just have to get out there and get more game experience. We've got some young kids, I was pleased with Hillary (Summers) she's been practicing really well and she will continue to play like that and probably get better. Destinee (Walker) and Stephanie (Watts) both are going to be really good players and I think you saw brilliances of that tonight.”
On the first half
“It's our first game, I thought we got a lot of good shots we didn't make. Again, just learning to play together, the timing, we started two freshmen, I know how good we can be. That's the good thing, we're just going to get better and better as we shoot better. Good shooting cures a multitude of sins, we've had games where we shot really well and I've been so upset as we didn't do other things well. But we'll continue to get better and better especially as Xylina gets back in shape and they continue to learn to play together and everything. I love what I saw the last 6-7 minutes, if we play like that all the time, we'll be fine.”
