Carolina Preseason #5 In Face-Off Yearbook Poll

BALTIMORE, MD. - 2015 NCAA quarterfinalist North Carolina begins the 2016 season ranked #5 in the preseason Face-Off Yearbook national poll. The Tar Heels are one of five teams picked in the Top 8 in the preseason poll. Ealier in the day UNC was picked by the ACC head coaches to finish fifth in this year's conference race.
Despite losing five All-Americas to graduation, UNC is still well regarded in the preseason poll of national coaches conducted by Face-Off Yearbook.
Notre Dame, the defending ACC regular season champion and 2015 NCAA semifinalist, is the preseason No. 1 pick, followed by defending NCAA champion Denver at No. 2.
The Face-Off Yearbook ranks all 70 teams in DI. The rankings are a consensus of Inside Lacrosse's staff and longtime contributors with assistance from the 70 Division I head coaches.
