Price, Kalbas Earn ITA Regional Awards

The 2015 ITA Team Indoor Championship's Most Outstanding Player and a first team All-ACC selection, Price has been outstanding in her final season for the Tar Heels. She leads UNC with a 37-6 overall singles record, while her 26 dual match victories this spring leads all Division I women's tennis players.
The Duluth, Ga., product is ranked No. 20 in singles by the ITA and has already received a bid in the NCAA Singles Championship field. Price has twice been named All-America in both 2013 and 2014 and is a three-time All-ACC selection.
Kalbas garners his seventh ITA Regional Coach of the Year honor in 2015. The ACC Coach of the Year has guided his club to a 29-1 record and a perfect 14-0 mark against the ACC. The Tar Heels also won their second ITA Team Indoor National Championship in the last three seasons.
Price, Kalbas and the rest of the Tar Heels return to action Friday in the NCAA round of 16. No. 2 Carolina faces No. 15 Miami in Waco, Texas, at 10 a.m. for a spot in Sunday's quarterfinals.
