Heels Host A Monday Exhibition With Elizabeth City State

CHAPEL HILL - North Carolina closes out its exhibition schedule with Monday's tilt with Elizabeth City State at 6 p.m., at Carmichael Arena.
The exhibition game is free to all fans in attendance.
Carolina opened up the 2016-17 campaign with a 96-70 victory over Carson-Newman in an exhibition game last Wednesday night.
UNC scored 57 points in the second half, and outscored Carson-Newman by a 33-16 margin in the fourth quarter to break open the game.
Freshman guard Taylor Koenen scored a game-high 23 points in her debut. Sophomore Stephanie Watts carved out a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while classmate Destinee Walker had 18 points and junior Jamie Cherry had 12 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.
UNC opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 11 against Alabama State at 4 p.m.
