Watts Selected ACC Rookie Of The Week For A 4th Time

Watts averaged 23.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.5 blocks in two games last week for the Tar Heels.
The Wesley Chapel, North Carolina, star stuffed the box score at both ends of the court against NC State on Sunday afternoon with a career-high 30 points against the Wolfpack. Watts also hauled in 13 rebounds, came up with five steals, recorded three blocks and dished out a pair of assists.
Watts also contributed 16 points and six rebounds against Pitt last Thursday night.
Watts' four ACC Rookie of the Week honors are the most in the league this season. She leads all ACC rookies in scoring (14.4) and blocked shots (1.24), and ranks second in rebounding (7.1) and sixth in both assists (2.5) and steals (1.4) per game.
Carolina (14-15, 4-10 Atlantic Coast Conference) visits Virginia on Thursday at 7 p.m. on the Regional Sports Network and ESPN3. The Tar Heels close out the regular season at home against Duke on Sunday at 3 p.m. on ESPN3.
