Basketball Team Sendoff Wednesday

CHAPEL HILL—The University of North Carolina men's basketball team will travel to Houston on Wednesday evening in preparation for Saturday night's NCAA Final Four game against Syracuse.
Tar Heel fans can send off the team from Entrance D of the Smith Center in Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. While not an opportunity for autographs or photographs with the team, it will be a time for fans to wish the Tar Heels well on their way to Houston.
Parking will be available after 5 p.m. in the lots surrounding the Smith Center (Williamson, Bowles and Manning Lots).
Final Four Viewing Saturday
On Saturday, Oklahoma and Villanova will play the first game at 6:09 p.m. in Houston, followed by Carolina vs. Syracuse at approximately 8:49 p.m. Fans are invited to watch the games at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill.
The Carolina Basketball Museum will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Entrance A will open for UNC students, faculty and staff (with UNC One card) at 5 p.m.
Entrance A will open for the general public at 5:30 p.m.
Both semifinal games will be shown on a large projection screen and the Smith Center video boards. Concessions and Carolina merchandise will be on sale.
Parking will be available for $5.00 in the Manning, Bowles, Craige and Ramshead parking lots.
