Carolina To Visit Wisconsin In ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Carolina has compiled an impressive 6-3 record in the Challenge against the Big Ten. This will be the first matchup between the Tar Heels and Badgers in the series that began in 2007.
The only previous head-to-head contest between the two programs was an 84-77 victory by North Carolina at the Princeton Tournament that took place coincidentaly on Dec. 1, 1989 in Princeton, New Jersey.
North Carolina returns four starters from last year's club, including 2016 ACC Rookie of the Year Stephanie Watts, in addition to Jamie Cherry, Hillary Summers and Destinee Walker.
Wisconsin is coming off a 7-22 season, and is led by newly-minted head coach Jonathan Tsipis, the 2015 Atlantic 10 Conference Coach of the Year at George Washington. In his four seasons, GW was 92-38.
