Seven Golfers Earn Spot On ACC Honor Roll

Seven University of North Carolina men's golfers were named to the 2015-16 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll. Carolina had 356 student-athletes earn a spot on the Honor Roll, the highest single-year figure in school history.

The ACC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.

Men's golfers on this year's Honor Roll include junior Davis Bateman, senior Keagan Cummings, freshman Preyer Fountain, sophomore Ben Griffin, junior Zach Martin, sophomore William Register and freshman Tailin Song.

Bateman and Martin earned a spot on the Honor Roll for the third time and Cummings, Griffin and Register are two-time honorees.
