• Carolina clinches at least a tie for its 31st ACC regular season championship, its eighth in 14 years under Roy Williams.
• ACC regular-season titles in the last 14 years: Roy Williams 8, Krzyzewski 3, Bennett 2, Leitao 1, Gary Williams 1, Larranaga 1.
• With its win and Duke's loss, Carolina clinches the No. 1 seed in the 2017 ACC Tournament with eight days to play in the regular season.
• Tar Heels will begin play in Brooklyn on Thursday, March 9, at noon.
• The Tar Heels are 25-5, 13-3 in ACC. That's 37 25-win seasons for UNC and the 22nd in 29 years as head coach for Roy Williams.
• Carolina has won at least 13 ACC games in the regular season 14 times.
• Tar Heels now 7-4 on the road this year including 5-3 in ACC play.
• It's the 11th time in 14 years Roy's UNC teams have clinched a winning record on the road in the ACC.
• Carolina is now 75-41 in ACC road games under Hall of Fame coach Roy Williams, the 2nd highest percentage in ACC history (.647).
• Carolina grabs a season-high 24 offensive rebounds and matches high with 28 second chance points (also at Hawai'i).
• Carolina attempted 25 more field goals than Pitt - previous high margin was plus 23 at NC State.
• UNC came into the game No. 1 in the country in rebounds, offensive rebounding and rebound margin and increased its numbers in all categories.
• The Tar Heels had 48-28 rebound margin and grabbed 24 off the O-glass. 7 off. rebs by Meeks, 4 by Bradley and Maye.
• UNC made 10 three-pointers, its most since Jan. 26, when UNC made 14 against Virginia Tech.
• Justin Jackson had a game-high 23 pts. It was his 16th 20-point game of the year, the 13th time in the last 17 games he has led UNC scoring.
• Jackson made five three pointers. It was the fifth time this year he's made at least five and the 11th time with at least four. He did that once in his first two seasons at Carolina.
• Kennedy Meeks with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals, 9-11 FG. It's his second consecutive double-double, his 10th of year and the 22nd of career.
• Isaiah Hicks had a career-high six assists. UNC had 13 assists on 14 first half buckets and 23 on 33 field goals for the game.
• Hicks had eight points and is three points from 1,000, which would be the 76th time a Tar Heel has reached that figure.
• Joel Berry II had 19 points and made four three-pointers. UNC now 10-1 this year when he makes at least three 3FGs.
• Justin Jackson has 83 three-pointers in 30 games this year. He moves into first in UNC single season history with 2.77 per game.
• Kennedy Meeks had 10 rebounds and passed Eric Montross for ninth place in UNC history with 949 - 51 away from 1,000.
• Meeks has back-to-back double-doubles (vs Louisville & Pitt) for first time since December '14 (sophomore season).
