CHAPEL HILL—Graduation ceremonies are complete, leaving a thrilling 2016-17 academic year officially in the past for Carolina Basketball. Summer school will begin later this week, and the off-season work for next season is already underway.

♦ The 2017 senior class graduated on Sunday, adding a UNC degree to the NCAA championship the Tar Heels won this spring.

♦ It was a particularly special Mother's Day and graduation Sunday for Kennedy Meeks, who celebrated earning his degree with some special women in his life.

3. 2017-18 SEASON TIDBITS
♦ Roy Williams told Zag's Blog he wants to coach another 10 years or more, and Williams also discussed Jerry Stackhouse's coaching career at the the NBA Draft Combine.
4. TAR HEELS IN THE PROS
♦ Former Tar Heels Danny Green of the San Antonio Spurs and James Michael McAdoo of the Golden State Warriors are facing off in the NBA Western Conference Finals. Green and McAdoo are among the 17 former Carolina players who have won NBA championship rings as players or coaches.
♦ Tyler Zeller of the Boston Celtics has advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals to meet Cleveland.
♦ Head coach Roy Williams stopped by the NBA Draft Combine to support Tar Heels Tony Bradley, Isaiah Hicks, Justin Jackson and Kennedy Meeks.
