• Carolina travels to Tallahassee, Fla., to play the 11-2 Florida State Seminoles on 1/3/18, UNC's first ACC road game of the season.
• The Tar Heels are 12-2 overall and 1-0 in ACC play after a 73-69 home win over Wake Forest on 12/30/17.

• Theo Pinson had an offensive rebound and assist (to Luke Maye) and two free throws to tie the game at 69 with 51 seconds to play.
• Joel Berry II (16 points) hit a runner with 11 seconds to play for the lead and Kenny Williams iced the win with two free throws.
• Carolina held the Deacs without a point on their last four possessions.
• Carolina finished the calendar year 2017 with a 33-7 record spanning two seasons.
• Carolina is now 53-12 in ACC season-openers, including 10-5 under Roy Williams.
