Tip Off Event Set For Oct. 27

CHAPEL HILL - The North Carolina women's basketball "Beyond Amazing" Tip Off Event will take place inside Carmichael Arena on October. 27 from 7-10 p.m. The event is free and no RSVP is required in what will be an ideal way to get the upcoming season underway.
It will be a women's basketball formatted event broken down into quarters with pre-game and halftime festivities.
Enjoy tailgate-style appetizers during pre-game, enjoy opening remarks from hall of fame head coach Sylvia Hatchell and meet the team in the first half, before enjoying a remarkable halftime performance by the Mighty Magnificent Band.
The third quarter will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Carolina's 1994 NCAA National Championship team, while the fourth quarter will close out the night with door prizes.
And if that wasn't enough, opportunities to purchase season tickets, join The Rams Club and learn more about what Team Tempo has planned for the 2018-19 campaign will be available to all in attendance.
