Carolina Travels to NC State, Duke

CHAPEL HILL – Staying in the Triangle after a pair of wins at home, North Carolina travels to NC State and Duke Wednesday and Saturday, respectively. The Tar Heels have won their past two matches at home with a sweep of Wake Forest and a 3-1 win over Miami. UNC ranks sixth in blocks in the ACC with 2.43 per set. Katharine Esterley and Ava Bell lead Carolina's block with 79 and 80, respectively.

Wednesday's match begins at 7 p.m. from NC State's Reynolds Coliseum. Fans can purchase tickets online at gopack.com. The Tar Heels face Duke for the second time in two weeks Saturday at 2 p.m. at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Both matches are available live on the ACC Network Extra.

About the Tar Heels (7-17, 3-12 ACC)
Coming off three straight wins, NC State hosts its final three matches to conclude 2018. The Wolfpack topped Duke and Wake Forest in five sets at home with a 3-1 win at Notre Dame. Teni Sopitan and Melissa Evans lead State with over 300 kills each. Sopitan's 1007 attack attempts ranks second in the ACC.
After three matches on the road, Duke returns home to host its final three regular season matches, beginning with Tobacco Road rival, North Carolina. The Blue Devils went 1-2 with the lone win at Carolina, just 15 days before facing off at Cameron Indoor. Duke balances its attack between three all with 200+ kills.
Carolina wraps up the 2018 season with Senior Day, Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. vs. Florida State.
