North Carolina leads 4-0. Sunday marks the third head-to-head matchup between UNC and Maine in the last five seasons. Most recently, a game-winning shot from Stephanie Watts lifted Carolina to a 59-58 victory in Dec 2016.
LAST TIME OUT
Carmen Grande scored 23 points to lead Ohio State to a 76-69 victory over North Carolina on Thursday in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge from Value City Arena. North Carolina saw all five of its starters score in double figures for the second time this season. Stephanie Watts had 15 points, followed by Paris Kea and Taylor Koenen with 14 points apiece, while Janelle Bailey added 11 points and nine rebounds and Shayla Bennett had 10.
UNC led 16-2 before the Buckeyes made their first basket of the game and held a 33-29 lead at halftime. Ohio State took its first lead early in the third quarter and outscored the Tar Heels, 47-36, in the second half. UNC was outrebounded 51-28.Â

• Janelle Bailey leads all ACC sophomores with 16 career double-doubles, the third most among all active players in the league.
• Redshirt Junior Stephanie Watts also has 16 career double-doubles.
• Watts' seven three-pointers vs. Kentucky is tied for the third most in a single game at UNC. She holds the school and ACC record of 10 made against Charleston Southern (11/22/16).
• UNC is second in the ACC shooting 76.9 percent from the free throw line. The Tar Heels set a program record last season converting at 74.3%.
• Paris Kea ranks sixth nationally among active players in NCAA Division I women's basketball with a 18.0 ppg career scoring average.
