North Carolina begins a two-game road swing on Sunday at No. 23 NC State. Tip-off from Reynolds Coliseum is scheduled for 3 p.m. on the Regional Sports Network and the ESPN app. The Tar Heels have lost four in a row, while the Wolfpack had its seven-game winning streak come to a stop on Thursday at Miami.Â

Virginia Tech tied a season-high with 13 three-pointers on its way to a 90-74 victory over North Carolina Wednesday in Chapel Hill. Paris Kea continued her torrid scoring pace with 20 points to lead North Carolina. The Tarboro, North Carolina native is only the fourth player in program history to score 1,000 points in their first two seasons with the Tar Heels.
Janelle Bailey registered her eighth double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds and Jamie Cherry went over 1,500 career points with 14 to go with eight assists.Â
Taylor Emery had a game-high 25 points for Virginia Tech, while Regan Magarity recorded her 12th double-double of the year with 24 points and 13 boards

NC State received a game-high 22 points from Kaila Easley during a 66-53 win over North Carolina on Jan. 18, 2018 from Carmichael Arena. Paris Kea led North Carolina  with 16 points, and freshman Janelle Bailey had nine points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
Akela Maize had 13 points and Aislinn Konig added 11 for NC State.
