Meet The Heels Coming Up Saturday Aug. 4

CHAPEL HILL --- The annual "Meet the Heels" event with the Carolina football team is scheduled for Aug. 4, from 3-6 p.m. at the Kenan Stadium Blue Zone. Â
Meet the Heels, presented by Publix, is free of charge to the general public with free parking available in various campus locations including Stadium Drive, Raleigh Road Visitors Lot, Boshamer Lot, Cobb Deck, School of Government Deck and the Bell Tower Deck. Parking will also be available at the Rams Head Deck for $1.50 an hour.Â
Starting at 3 p.m, all outdoor activities will begin, including bounce houses, balloon twisting, face painting, Dyehard Fan Supply merchandise, concessions, photo opportunities with Rameses and RJ, and much more. Publix, Bojangles, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina will be on-site offering free interactive activities and giveaways to early arriving fans!
The football team and head coach Larry Fedora will hold an autograph session (limited to one signed item per person to ensure all fans are accommodated) from 4-6 p.m. inside the Blue Zone. 2018 football posters and schedule cards will be available at no cost.
The Carolina Kids Club kickoff celebration will begin at 3 p.m. with the first 250 active Kids Club members receiving a free kid's meal, a Tar Heel autograph book and other giveaways. You can still join the Kids Club for the 2018-19 school year starting at only $30 by clicking here.
