CHAPEL HILL—Freshman Ryan Burnett took third place individually and the Tar Heel men's golf team finished second at the Rod Myers Invitational on Sunday at Duke.  Meanwhile, men's soccer opened Atlantic Coast Conferene play with a win over Pitt, field hockey won two games, women's soccer dropped two games on the West Coast and volleyball took part in the Buffs Invitational in Colorado.
