Tiana Mangakahia's first career triple-double guided No. 12 Syracuse to a 90-77 victory over North Carolina Sunday afternoon from the Carrier Dome. Paris Kea scored a team-leading 22 points for North Carolina (9-8, 0-3 Atlantic Coast Conference). Taylor Koenen tied her career-high with 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to register the sixth double-double of her career. Janelle Bailey and Stephanie Watts tossed in 16 points apiece. Mangakahia, the ACC's assist leader, filled the stat sheet on Sunday with 34 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Digna Strautmane added 14 points and Miranda Drummond had 13.Â

• Taylor Koenen ranks third in the ACC converting 87.0 percent of her foul shots.
• The Tar Heels are second in the league as a team shooting 76.3 percent from the free throw line, a figure that would set a new program record.
• Janelle Bailey leads all ACC sophomores with 21 career double-doubles, the third highest figure among all active players in the league.
• Bailey leads UNC in scoring (17.0, 6th in ACC) and rebounding (8.9, 5th).
• Stephanie Watts is 10th in the league with 15.4 ppg and ranks 2nd with 3.2 3FG per game.
• Watts had 35 points and nine three-pointers versus UNCW on Dec. 5. Both figures are the best in the ACC this season.
