Keefer Qualifies For ACC Indoors In 60m

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Sophomore Anna Keefer qualified for her second ACC Indoor Championship event on Friday at the Gamecock Inaugural meet. The 2018 ACC Champion in women's indoor long jump ran 7.44 in the 60-meter dash prelims just one week after qualifying for the conference championships in her primary event.
With the second-best time of the day, the St. Michael Albertville, Minn. native now ranks third all-time at UNC and secured a spot in Saturday's 60m final scheduled for 12:05 p.m.
Sophomore Ryan Saint-Germain and senior Drew Pedersen also had noteworthy performances on opening day. Saint-Germain took third in the men's 300m with a time of 33.68, the fastest collegiate time of the event, and although Pedersen just missed qualifying for ACCs on pole vault, he still finished the competition in first place with a height of 15-5 (4.70m).
