No. 1 Notre Dame Comes To Town Sunday

CHAPEL HILL - Carolina returns home from a two-game road swing to host No. 1 Notre Dame on Sunday. The Tar Heels are 11-9 overall, 2-4 in the ACC, after their 81-69 win at Virginia Tech on Thursday. Notre Dame is 19-1, 6-0 in conference play. The Fighting Irish won at Tennessee, 77-62, on Thursday.

Janelle Bailey and Paris Kea combined for 47 points in guiding North Carolina to an 81-69 victory over Virginia Tech Thursday night from Cassell Coliseum. Kea scored a season-high 26 points as Carolina registered its first conference road win of the season. Bailey notched the ninth double-double of her sophomore campaign with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Stephanie Watts added 17 points and seven boards and Taylor Koenen added 11 points.Â
