Anderson, Perry and Macri will serve as tri-captains.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team has elected its tri-captains for the 2019-20 school year.

Macri follows in his older brother's footsteps as a team captain after Ryan Macri was a captain on the 2016 and 2017 squads.
Both Anderson and Perry are four-year starters in the first midfield for head coach Joe Breschi's team.
Anderson has 43 career goals and 18 career assists for 61 points. He had 19 points and six assists last season for a career-high 25 points.
Perry was Carolina's second-leading scorer last season as a junior when he led the team with 26 goals and had six assists for 32 points. He has 62 goals and 19 assists in his career for 71 points. As a sophomore he set a single season school record by tallying 11 extra-man goals.
After seeing limited action as a freshman, Macri played in 12 games as a sophomore and all 15 games as a junior. He has 24 ground balls in his career. Macri has seen action as a short-stick defensive midfielder and long-stick defensive midfielder in his Tar Heel career.
