Hannah Nam joins the 2019 signing class for Carolina Gymnastics.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The North Carolina women's gymnastics program announced the signing of Hannah Nam to the 2019 signing class. Nam, a native of West Chester, Ohio, joins fellow future Tar Heels Elizabeth Culton and Hallie Thompson.
Nam trains at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy under coaches Mary Lee Tracy and Rachel Gardner. A four-time Junior Olympic national qualifier, Nam placed third on beam, seventh on floor and ninth in the all around at the 2017 Junior Olympics. In 2018, Nam was the Region 5 beam and floor champion, coming in second in the all around.
On the state level, Nam celebrated six Ohio state championships. In 2016, she won beam, floor and the all around. In 2017, she took the top spot on the podium on beam and floor. In addition, she won the 2018 state championship on beam.
Nam is set to graduate from Ohio Connections Academy in June 2019, after only three years. She is a straight A student that is named to the Honor Roll of Distinction.
