UNC Hosts NC State On Paris Kea's Senior Day

CHAPEL HILL - Carolina hosts its final home game of the season by welcoming No. 9 NC State on Sunday at noon. The Tar Heels are 17-11 overall, 8-6 in the ACC, after their 93-78 win over Boston College on Thursday. NC State is 23-3, 10-3 in conference play. The Wolfpack topped Wake Forest, 80-46, on at home on Thursday.

Stephanie Watts scored 20 points to help the Tar Heels beat the Wolfpack 64-51 on Sunday, Feb. 3, ending N.C. State's 21-game winning streak to start the season. Janelle Bailey added 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Tar Heels, who shot 39 percent and made a season-low four 3-pointers. But they scored 18 points off 14 turnovers by the Wolfpack.
Kiara Leslie had 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Wolfpack, who shot 30 percent.
LAST TIME OUT
Janelle Bailey scored a career-high 31 points and Paris Kea added 25 more to lead North Carolina to a 93-78 victory over Boston College on Thursday from Carmichael Arena. The win marked the 750th for head coach Sylvia Hatchell with the Tar Heels. Bailey was 12-of-18 from the field and hauled in seven rebounds, while Kea was 10-for-17 from the floor and handed out eight assists. Taylor Koenen notched her eighth career double-double with 11 points and a career-best 15 rebounds, while Shayla Bennett tossed in 12.
