NEW ORLEANS – Six Tar Heels were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Individuals for the 2020 track and field season, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Thursday. Five women and one man from the North Carolina teams received individual recognition while both the men's and women's programs were named to the list of USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams for 2020.
Mady Clahane, Paige Hofstad, Anna Keefer, Emerson Porter and Jill Shippee were the five women to be recognized for their outstanding efforts in the classroom as well as in competition. Alex Milligan was the sole representative for the Tar Heels on the men's side.
