CHAPEL HILL - The No. 14 North Carolina wrestling team (3-2, 0-0 ACC) looked impressive in their 24-12 defeat of the Campbell on Sunday night in Carmichael Arena. The victory extends UNC's home dual win streak to four dating back to last season.

The Tar Heels took seven out of 10 bouts from the Fighting Camels, starting with No. 10 Jaime Hernandez 18-11 decision over Domenic Zaccone. In the second period, he lit up the scoreboard, securing three takedowns, and tied the match at three after Spencer Moore dropped a 6-3 decision to No. 29 Anthony Molton.

At 141 pounds, No. 12 Kizhan Clarke wrapped up an impressive week defeating Shannon Hanna through a 6-1 decision. No. 6 Zach Sherman would drop a 2-1 decision (SV2) to No. 16 Josh Heil due to a penalty point. No. 2 Austin O'Connor would get the win over Matthew Dallara thanks to a disqualification.

Sonny Santiago defeated Riley Augustine via decision, 6-3. The Tar Heels scored six points thanks to wins at 174 and 185 by No. 22 Clay Lautt (3-2 Dec) and No. 22 Gavin Kane (7-3 Dec).

No. 27 Max Shaw earned the Tar Heel's last win of the night with a hard-fought 3-2 decision over Levi Hopkins. The Tar Heels would then forfeit the heavyweight match to end the night.

Next Saturday, the Tar Heels return to action with duals against No. 22 Wisconsin and No. 18 Rutgers at the Garden State Grapple in Newark, N.J. The Wisconsin match will be at 5:30 pm, and the Rutgers match will take place at 7:30 pm.
