Tar Heels Release 2022 Indoor Track Schedule

CHAPEL HILL—The University of North Carolina has released its 2022 indoor track and field schedule, head coach Chris Miltenberg announced this week.
The slate includes 10 events in the regular season, all of which are away from home.Â
The indoor season will begin with back-to-back weekends in Blacksburg, Va., site of the 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Championships.  Competition will kick off on January 14 and 15 at the Virginia Tech Invitational. The Tar Heels will return to Blacksburg for the Hokie Invitational on January 21 and 22.
UNC will visit Bloomington, Ind., on January 28 and 29 for the Indiana Relays.
Members of the Tar Heels will split the following weekend at a pair of events on February 5, those being the Camel City Invitational hosted by Wake Forest and the Liberty Open in Lynchburg, Va.
The weekend of February 11 and 12 will include UNC delegations at Clemson's Tiger Paw Invitational, Boston University's Valentine Invitational and Liberty's Darius Dixon Invitational.
The indoor regular season will conclude on February 18 and 19 at Wake Forest's JDL DMR Invitational and the Virginia Tech Challenge.
Virginia Tech will host the 2022 ACC indoor meet from February 24-26. Â The NCAA Indoor Championships will be on March 11 and 12 in Birmingham, Ala.
