Syracuse Tip-Off Moved Up To 4 PM

North Carolina will tip off the home portion of its Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball season a few hours earlier than originally scheduled.

The Tar Heels' Dec. 30 home game against Syracuse will begin at 4 p.m., the ACC announced on Wednesday. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m.

UNC opens ACC play on Dec. 19 at Boston College. The Syracuse game is the first of two back-to-back home games, with Clemson visiting on Jan. 2 for a 6 p.m. tipoff.

Next up for Carolina (8-0) is a home game on Sunday against UNC Asheville. It's the second in a string of three nonconference games at Carmichael Arena for the Tar Heels, with the third coming on Dec. 15 against Jacksonville in the final tune-up before the ACC opener at Boston College.
