Softball Welcomes Charlotte For Midweek Matchup

CHAPEL HILL – After a four-game series at Clemson, North Carolina returns home to welcome Charlotte to Anderson Stadium Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The Tar Heels enter the weekend 10-12 overall while Charlotte comes to Chapel Hill with a 17-8 record.

About North Carolina
Most recently, the Tar Heels dropped their four-game series at Clemson. Carolina scored one run in each game of the series. Destiny Middleton managed two of UNC's 11 hits throughout the weekend.

» Katie Grace Olinger made her season debut on Friday and struck out four in a complete game Saturday.
» Both reached-base streaks for Kristina Burkhardt and Taylor Greene are at two. Greene leads the Tar Heels with four multi-RBI games.

Assistant coach Taylor Wike was a four-time all-ACC selection at North Carolina under head coach Donna J. Papa. Earning NFCA all-Southeast Region honors as a junior and senior, Wike helped the Tar Heels to three consecutive NCAA tournaments before graduating in 2018.
