Chandler Lands On Preseason Doak Walker List

DALLAS - Carolina running back Ty Chandler has been selected as a preseason candidate for the 2021 Doak Walker Award. The PwC SMU Athletic Forum presents the award annually to the nation's top college running back.
The Tennessee transfer totaled 2,015 rushing yards and ranks fifth in UT history with 3,245 all-purpose yards across 45 games and 25 starts. He led the Vols in rushing in both 2018 and 2019 with 630 and 655 yards, respectively.Â
The Nashville, Tenn., native scored 17 career touchdowns (13 rushing, three receiving, one kickoff return) at UT. Â
