Ten Tar Heel Gymnasts Named WGCA Scholastic All-America

CHAPEL HILL – Ten members of the North Carolina gymnastics team have been recognized as 2020-2021 Scholastic All-Americans by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).
The 10 All-Americas include: Drew Aldridge, Elizabeth Culton, Tina Ghashghaei, Leah Gneco, Ally LaNasa, Julianna Love, Emma Marchese, Sophie Silverstein, Shailyn St. Brice, and Brianna Greenlow.
Aldridge, Culton, Love, Marchese, and St. Brice were each back-to-back winners of the accolade. To qualify, student-athletes must have maintained at least a 3.5 grade point average for the 2020-21 academic year.
The Tar Heels were one of 69 programs across the country that registered above a 3.40 team GPA. North Carolina ended the academic year with a 3.4065 mark.
