'LIve Action' Turns Up The Preseason Volume
October 8, 2022 | Women's Basketball
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina turned up the volume on the basketball preseason Friday night at the Dean E. Smith Center. The UNC women's and men's teams participated in Live Action with Carolina Basketball, a renamed event that maintained its traditional excitement.
The night included intros for both teams, scrimmage time, and the demonstration of both basketball skills and dance skills.
The Tar Heel women open the season on Nov. 9, hosting Jackson State at Carmichael Arena. Carolina returns four starters and eight of the top nine scorers from last year's team, which finished 25-7 overall and reached the NCAA Sweet 16.
